Social Responsibility

As an institute we believe that it is our role as an educational institution is to provide social awareness as well as cultivate humanity. Imperial college has always felt responsible towards the upliftment the society and have always found ways to give back.

Imperial college values the dedication and hard work. The College rewards Imperial College Meghna Gupta Gold Medal to felicitate the dedication and hard work for BCA topper students of Sambalpur University.

Imperial College also provides free books to every student before the start of each semester to reduce the cost burden on parents and students.

Imperial College grows sunflower in the campus every year with the only intention to feed parakeets and have featured in Nationals Magazines for this initiative.

Paperless Campus- Students of Imperial College has an app dedicated to them for attendance, syllabus, course progress, competitions, notices, etc.

All the administration work in done through the ERP and have reduced the use of paper in the campus to a very great extent.

Plastic Free campus- Plastic is not used in almost any form inside the campus be it in decorations for events, disposable cups and plates, carry bags, etc.

Imperial college does organic farming in the campus for the vegetables used in the canteen to provide students healthy meals required for a healthy body.

Imperial College distributes Eco-friendly Ganesh and Saraswati Idol to more than 25 schools and institutions begore Ganesh Puja and Saraswati Puja every year to promote values of sustainability and care for mother nature.

Road safety Awareness campaigns are done by students to create awareness about road safety and traffic rules.

During the difficult period of the COVID-19 pandemic free education was given to students who lost someone in their family during the Covid-19 pandemic and 1 year of free accommodation.

Bargarh Dhanujatra App– Imperial College’s students and faculties developed an app for Bargarh Dhanujatra- the largest open air theatre in the world. The app gave solutions to a lot of issues during Bargarh Dhanujatra like parking, Healthcare centres, ATMs, etc., and live information like every day of about the biggest open-air theatre show that spanned over 11 days.
