At Imperial we provide youngsters with the right mix of activities and an environment to help build empathy – empathy towards their immediate surroundings and social environment and towards the community at large. Our students are expected to participate in a variety of social outreach programs, including spending a day at various orphanages, participating in green drives including tree plantations etc., conducting social awareness camps like Voter Awareness programs, Blood donation camps and participating in keeping their city and its environs clean by volunteering in centrally government run programs such as the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan etc.

More than 90% of our students support our decision of not serving junk food or soft drinks within the campus for their own health’s sake. The college has its own organic vegetable garden.

The Academic Committee is responsible for encouraging an intellectually stimulating environment by supporting the college in the smooth functioning of classes, examinations, and other academic activities.
The committee is responsible for the holistic development of students’ careers and establishment of strong and sustainable corporate relations. As part of its preparation activities, the committee collates the required information from seniors, alumni, and industry experts, conducts relevant workshops and practice sessions and provides timely feedback to help students assess themselves and bridge any gap that may exist before the actual placement process begins.
The Hostel and Mess Committee is responsible for the smooth functioning of the hostel and mess facilities at Imperial College under the supervision of the Campus Facilities Supervisor (CFS).
The cultural wing of the club is the home to all the main events of the campus like. The memebers organise all the events The club has also had inputs from artists in the area for a richer learning experience.
The sports club of the college encourages shining sphere in the field of sports including outdoor games like basketball, volleyball, badminton, archery, golf and indoor games like table tennis, chess, carom, among many other. Imperial College also has unique facilities like "Buddhavanam" and "open gym" for all students to promote the concept of 5 sense awakening. The club's members are also encouraged to participate in the sports events representing the college.
The club was built on one of the core principles of Imperial College of sustainable development and environmental concerns that is committed to raising awareness about environmental issues and to reducing environmental impact as individuals. The member students have organised plantation drives in the district. This club actively takes care of the vegetation in the campus and have help gain the college "Green Champion Award" in the district.
The Self expression and debate club gives students of all abilities a fun way of developing their oracy skills. They organise various activities to help students with their critical thinking and confident communication. The members of this club play an active part in the publication of the in-house monthly magazine called the "Imperial times”.
